How to Stay Inspired

One of the problems associated with aiming for success when you need to push forward in life is in knowing how to stay inspired and keep yourself motivated.

There are several relatively simple ways you can achieve this and that's what I'll be looking at in this article.

The best way to stay consistently inspired may be by simply avoiding negative people.

how to stay inspiredNegative people are an extremely powerful force. But not the kind of force that we want around us.

Just as positive people have the ability to make us feel good and increase our energy, negative and pessimistic people have an amazing ability to bring us down. This is all related to how the law of attraction works (read that linked article for more information).

This is especially true when it comes to family members because we usually care more about what they think than we do others.

If you are in a situation where you are constantly in close proximity to any negative people, whether it be family members, friends, colleagues or other acquaintances, don't walk, RUN the other way!

Negative people will bring you down.

The reason this is so true is because as human beings we are the most social animal on the planet. We feel deep connections to those around us and crave meaningful interaction, even if it's with people that are constantly saying negative things about others, spouting vitriolic opinions, and generally forecasting doom and gloom.

Pessimism is a Disease

How can we stay inspired on a day to day basis with these kinds of people around us?

The answer is that it's really HARD!

One of the easiest and most effective things to do when trying to live an inspired life of abundance is to cut these people loose or at the very least minimize the time that we spend with them. Instead, surround yourself with positive people who will inspire you to true wealth and success!

This may be difficult in certain circumstances such as when we have negative co-workers or family members that we are virtually forced to spend time with. But we can still reduce the amount of interaction that we have with them and also train our minds to reduce the amount of influence their negativity can have on us.

One way to reduce the amount of negative influence these people have on us is to simply build up our inspired and positive feelings. If deep down in our core we feel a sense of optimism and hopefulness, it will be difficult for the energy of negative people to override that.

But this takes practice.

Inspired Thoughts Lead to Inspired People!

Just like with anything else we have to work at it in order to get to where we want to be.

But the more you do it, the easier it will become.

This is in some way invoking the law of attraction to literally attract to you the inspiration and motivation you need to move forward and upward.

The key is to focus for a set period of time every single day on generating inspired and positive thoughts and feelings.

Natural Inspiration

Once we make this a habit, it will be hard for us to even be in proximity to the negative energy of pessimistic fearful people.

We will be allergic to them and want to get away as fast as possible.

When you're used to being around negative people then it just feels normal. When you're used to being around inspired and positive people, then you're feelings of inspiration and positive energy will continue to build until they are so strong that NOBODY and almost no circumstances will be able to bring you down.

This is how Martin Luther King Jr. was able to stay upbeat and resolved in the face of extremely intense ugliness in the south during the civil rights movement in the 1950s and 60s. Not only was MLK positive during these challenging times, but he remained INSPIRED by his cause and millions of people that were counting on him to lead them to a better tomorrow.

Not all of us are capable of the type of leadership or greatness that inspired Martin Luther King Jr. But all of us are born with the same fundamental attributes of creativity, love, intelligence, and will power that can lead us to success.

It is only after many years in a world full of negative people that we are brought down to feelings of loneliness, fear, rejection, or poverty.

Once we re-build the part of ourselves that feels inspired to get up in the morning and go to work, help others, exercise, and learn we can continue the journey of building the life of our dreams with a positive, "I can" attitude.

One of the best ways to do this, is to stay away from negative people!
